Precision X-Ray to Present at American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting

NORTH BRANFORD, Conn., (April 4, 2018) – Precision X-Ray (PXi), the leader in small-animal cabinet irradiators and radiotherapy research systems worldwide, will join the Late-Breaking Research session at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) annual meeting April 14-18, 2018 at McCormick Place North/South in Chicago.

“The upcoming AACR 2018 theme Driving Innovative Cancer Science to Patient Care is a powerful reminder that at the heart of every scientific advance is a patient in urgent need of a cure,” said Kansas University Medical Center Adjunct Faculty Member and PXi Scientist and Consultant Dr. Rao V. L. Papineni. Papineni will present his work (Accepted at AACR 2018) on an integrated platform for anti-cancer radiation therapeutics screening (I-PARTS) as a Late-Breaking research. This project is in association with NASA and supported by NCI.

Presentations at the Annual Meeting will cover the latest basic, translational, clinical, and prevention-focused research in the field, including important areas such as early detection, cancer interception, and survivorship in all populations.
